I want to conquer a mud hole I got stuck in recently. Of course, I'll have a friend with a truck with me as well as a tripod. What's the best way through a mud that you know you can get stuck in? Are you supposed to try and tank it from the best angle or just gun through? Are you supposed to use 4Lo for a short burst of offroading or 4Hi? Thanks in advance.

depends on how you drive and how deep it is. pics help too to see what you're working with. i just plow through puddles and snow and whatever mud I can find

That's what I'm thinking. 4hi and just get your speed up and kinda float over it, lol. Then agian I could be wrong as hell cause I've never hit deep mud with the blazer yet.

if your mud hole doesn't have any rocks and stuff at the bottom go into it going pretty fast and your tires spinning will keep your momentum going and hope you clear it. I only put mine in 4 wheel drive if I get stuck in 2 wheel drive 4Lo is pretty much a last resort but if your are stuck in them mud and just gunning it 4Lo won't help at all. try turning your tires from side to side, don't keep going through the mud pit at the same spot.

Ummm...
what kind of tires are your trying to go through mud with? That could be your problem right there, and no, AT's do not make mud tires.

I'm running street tires. My truck has no ability to get through mud without 4x4 as it just sinks into mud.

I personally wouldn't even try it until you can get some better tires for that man, street tires sure don't fare well in mud, not too often you see mud on the streets lol.
