Boggs and Boulders 6-16-2012
Went up to Boggs and Boulders in southern Alabama with a bunch of guys from base. Had a blast, broke some stuff and drank some beer. I only played in the mud for about an hour, got stuck three times and then stuck to the trails and rocks. It's a pretty nice place. I ended up with a punctured oil filter and the front skid plate is also garbage. Good reason to make some new ones. One of the Jeeps had to be trailered back after snapping the pulley off his power steering pump. The Rubicon ripped his rear fender off, but it snapped right back on. Some other minor damage, but nothing we can't fix.

Looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing the pics!
You're braver than me driving in deepish water like that. Not long after I got my Blazer I stalled it crossing a creek. I'd crossed the creek a number of times in previous years, but the spring run-off had cut a deeper channel right next to the far bank and when I went through I ended up with water over the hood of my Blazer. Luckily when the engine bogged I had enough momentum that I got almost out of the water, so I shut it off. 2nd lucky thing was I didn't get any water inside the motor, so once everything dried out it fired right back up.
