It's not a full-on bumper, but I wanted something a little more low-key anyway. I purchased a winch mount from 4wdfactory and it nestled nicely behind and between the uprights of my brush guard.
That's a really clean looking installation you did.
Just put on a Synergy Hidden Winch Plate with RC 9500lb winch. Thought it would be cheaper to get the plate than a bumper... then i decided to get the receiver tubes... between the plate and the tubes they cost as much as a Logan's Bumper would have. Love the look, but in hindsight with all the effort to get stuff to line up and the cutting(Oh god the cutting...) wish I'd just gotten a bumper.
I don't know, I like the looks of them but don't like the thought of packing around the extra weight. I also prefer the hidden look especially when the snow starts flying. A stock bumper setup helps protect the winch also and doesn't draw the attention of thieves.

I agree completely, the winch and plate are about 90lb together, not terrible weight. and the factory steel bumper houses it perfectly. I even got a $10 waterproof/dust proof winch cover for a little added protection from the elements.
