went went out the old ladys dads house for her birthday and her brother came out with his jeep. he had never taken it out before, he has a 6 inch lift kit with a quick detach swing arm. we went down to my spot and he got stuck, kinda funny( i run a stock 84 s 10 blazer and never got stuck there) so he puts it in 4 wheel drive and gets it out, had a lot fun then we get back on the road his truck starts shaking really bad, he forgot to disengage his 4 wheel drive. anyways had a fun day. oh question my positive battery cable melted out of my side terminal of my optimal red top any thoughts on why it did that

 

Starter issue, feed back from the starter perhaps, perhaps like a grounding issue. I'd check wires by hot points, like the exhaust, heads etc.
& you should have PICS - love a Blazer run amok where another had issues!
