got some new tires
so i got my tax return last week and decided i should get some new tires with it nothing bigger then what goes on it stock but i got a 2002 zr2 with some 31" firestone destination mt not to much around me here in va to test them out but i found the local dirtbike/4wheeler hangout and the had some good mud there and they worked great im sure ill eventually get some more pics up soon but this is what i have for now. cant wait to go back up to mi and really test em out. http://community.webshots.com/user/carlwarner
i paid $650 out the door but around me they charge to put them on for you alot of places do it for free but not around here so if you cant do it yourself then it whould of been like 700+, but im very happy with them so far there not as loud as alot of other mud tires ive seen and tire rack rates them #1 mud tire the only problem is they do rub a little bit when i turn but i have to be fully turnd so i think ill pick up some spacershere soon. i just wish there was more offroading around here i might have to drive down to nc for a weekend or somthing.
i got bigger tires and mine rub alittle so i got wheelspsacers and they made them rub worse. and had to do some fender triming. jus though i would let you kno befor u went out and spent the money on spacers
nice mud...wish we had sum around here we got a coupla feet of snow and i got bald tires a trip to the gas station is always an adventure last week my neihbor had to pull me out of my yard i slid out of my driveway and pinned myself against our chainlink fence the side of my truck looks great now all scraped up adds a little character
