Default Heading Out On The Beach

Hopefully the beach is not closed tomorrow night due to hurricane Earl in the Atlantic. I am supposed to head out with mine Blazer and the wifes Envoy to due a little picknick diner and some surf fishing. If we go I wont forget the pictures this time.

Sounds sweet, take many pics for those of us who wish we lived closer to the ocean.

Out here on Long Island I have 3 beaches within a half hour drive I can go on Gilgo, Sore Thumb and Democrate Point at Robert Moses State Park. If we get out tonight it will most liklly be Sore Thumb since it is a little more user friendly. I have never taken the Envoy on the beach nor has my wife ever driven on the beach and we will need to bring both trucks because we do not all fit in my Blazer so I will carry the gear and she will have the 4 kids.

I am talking to my parents right now down in Seaside Park and they are getting ready to start tying down stuff or pull it all in. It is both beautiful and rough living on the bay.

Well we did not last that long due to the Long Island Air force (mosquitoes) eating us especially my 20 month old alive and the fact that there was no action fishing but we took a few pics of the Envoy. We left the Blazer home to save some gas and squeazed every thing in the XL. The next time we go it will be earlier in the day.
