I recently upgraded my 35watt hid's to 55 watt hids in my kc's. You may have more Kc's than me but my two are probably as powerfull as 4 of yours. Hows that for a One-up!!

I was considering doing an HID swap it'd probably save my alternator some stress. it'd be $300 to do all 7 haha... and i'd have an extra. how did you wire your kc's since they really don't have harnesses?

Well when i got my kc's they didnt come with the "wiring kit" so i made my own. Same as diagram just didnt wire em to the High beams.

As for HID's go to DDm tuning, Got my 55 watt 4500k hid's next day air to my house for $75, not a bad price Eh? And if I were you I would just put em on the roof. Having some issues with mine right now because the ballasts have been submerged.

thats where I got both of my sets of HIDs. yea... I would probably get the balasts wet if I put them on the front. those lights get beat up a lot, and they tend to be under water a lot... I was thinking more about the connectors themselves aren't KC's like H3's? the ddm lights come with the H3 connector. did you just cut them off and hardwire the KC's to the balasts?

Yep, i got the h3 hid kit. What I did is dremel out a bigger hole so the connectors would fit threw. That filled the hole with silicone.

That's why I used another roof rail & fabbed up brackets to move the light bar up front on the roof rack.

As a result I can still use my roof racks. I've hauled many a load of 2" x 6" timber. Fit sideways between each lamp. (they're spaced 2" apart) a short piece across the top & then 4 flat across the top of the upright ones. These were 6.0 & 4.8mtr lengths. Was waiting for it all to crush the roof rails but the "add on" one is stronger than the Blazer ones & the rear stock one held out.
