i think cbs are a great idea just have to run on a weird channel like 14 or something cuz i know truckers use 19 police use 18 and the land fill that is around there uses 3, ill have to pick a cheap one up at walmart for like 20 bucks n get a cheep antenna. now we got that figured out what time we meeting and we meeting at the place or at bk

haha, nvrmind i found it. Is 4 wheel drive a requirement? mines not working atm.

 

4wd is not nessisarry and there are trails to satisfy any level of off-road desire one may have....ofcourse 4wd is preferably the best option but not mandatory. ... so pack up and come on...thr more the merrier

Bad sign, my steering box went into free spin last night, not sure whats up with it. Not what i was looking forward to couple days before a road trip.

 

Hope its only the bolt to the shaft that locks it together.....keep us posted

 

Little complicated to explain cuz im not sure what all the pieces are called...lol. the splined shaft connects to the worm gear thingamabob. theres a lil pin that sheared off, there is still 2 other tabs that look like it should have still kept it all in tact but I don't know. Hope upull has another astro box, cuz an almost $200 new box is not in my cards.

It was a scary and lucky situation. I just got done doing 56" leafs up front. take it for a test drive, turn out of my garage. Turn onto the street, turn onto the main avenue, recentering steering wheel, steering locks quick, releases, no steering, comes back, goes away, then just enough and at the right time comes back to turn into a parking lot. I'll be good if that never happens again.
