As some of you may or may not know, I am a survivalist. So, the first thing my girlfriend learned when she got her new truck, is how to negotiate off-road obstacles. Observe:

That reminded me of my young days on my mom's 1984 mazda b2000, I was the only one crazy enough (or dumb because I was 15) to follow my friends jeeps, dune buggies and atv off road with it.

Is your brother still building those bumpers? Would really like one for my 95 Blazer.

Sorry, no, he is still out of the country with no solid plans to return :/

So, funny story...Yesterday I found an item crashed and parked next to a dumpster for disposal:
http://i578.photobucket.com/albums/s...y/IMAG0520.jpg
http://i578.photobucket.com/albums/s...y/IMAG0524.jpg

I contacted the local Police Department and reported it as abandoned property. Nobody had reported it stolen, and they said it was mine. I can't even believe this typing it. Anyway, so today I bought a set of ramps, took off the seriously damaged grille guard, and loaded it up in the back of my girlfriend's truck (Don't worry, I properly inflated the tires and secured it in the bed):

Then I had some serious fun:

EZGo ST Sport II Off-Road - YouTube

I plan to tighten all the loose bolts for the roof that I found today, and patch together the front clip...Then...I don't know. I guess drive it around like crazy some more lol. We drove it hard for 6 hours straight, no damage, no issues, and we burnt about 2 gallons of gas.

Also, while out there, I found two tires on aluminum Jeep rims...so, if anyone needs a pair. Lol.

xgiovannix12 06-07-2012 12:01 AM

Nice find and it looks sorta heavy for your girls truck =D

TheRandom1 06-07-2012 05:35 AM

Wow, that is a great find!

BlaziNator 06-07-2012 06:25 AM

Thanks! Well, once I got the tires properly inflated it looked a lot better. Believe it or not that little Toyota is a 3/4 ton lol. So it handles it well.

El_Beautor 06-07-2012 11:41 AM

That's a sweet find!

A 1986 Suzuki Samurai.
Rear bumper is now on it. Runs like a top. Loads of things to fix and tinker. Everything that matters works.

xgiovannix12 07-13-2012 04:01 PM

nice trade I heard those things are easy to tip .... Might wanna make an heavy duty roll cage for it

TheRandom1 07-13-2012 05:34 PM

Those are awesome, nice pick up!

okiedoak20 07-13-2012 08:05 PM

i dont know about the tip over stuff, but i do know they are incredible
off road, and with a set of good tires, watch out, those go places most jeeps cant go... looks like a great trade, well done!!!

TheRandom1 07-13-2012 08:13 PM

oh yeah they have quite the reputation for going wheels up if you take a corner too fast.

BlaziNator 07-14-2012 03:39 PM

Yeah, they had an incredible rollover rate when they were introduced. The more I learn about most drivers though...I can totally see it. I'm pretty positive I'll keep all four down on the highway. Because I'm not retarded. Haha. These are essentially a Tracker/Sidekick with a SFA. I have a lot of work to do, but I'm pretty excited. And 27 MPG ;) @ 55mph :x

BlaziNator 07-18-2012 08:17 PM

Well, I'm selling the Blazinator to build the Samurai...Here's a link:

Got my lift on!

A buddy of mine and I pulled an all-nighter and knocked out the lift in 7 hours including a break at Whataburger and a trip to The Home Depot to get new bolts for the rear spring mounts. The bolts were frozen in the sleeve and we had to remove them with a sawz-all and a cut off tool. PICTURES:

This setup gets more flex, and less wheel hop.

Here's another video (when it finishes uploading)

So far the little thing has really impressed me. I like the hard top look as well. Although I keep getting, "Is that an old mail Jeep?" :icon_slap:

litterbug 02-19-2013 06:05 PM

nice!!! i like that k5 back there lol

CraigSnedeker 02-20-2013 01:20 PM

Awww yeah!

Mczuk 02-23-2013 02:40 AM

People that aren't familiar with these little suzukis allways underestimate them. But a zuk with 31s will go the same places as a jeep with 33s or 35s. I'm on my 3rd sami now and first vitara (sidekick).

phanter 03-06-2013 02:40 AM

I am really fun of off road adventures. My friends and I do some off road trips and those picture above are really great and looks so fun.

BlaziNator 08-29-2013 03:07 PM

Some more videos coming at ya. Including some of my brother's Sonoma. Enjoy.
