Default Off Roading Last Weekend.. Pics

Sorry, Dont have any action shots.. Didnt want evidence that I was ripping through fields :P

Last Pic, I drove up a mountain road, not plowed obviously, I drove all the way up until cars that got stuck were blocking the road (they were abandoned there) So I had to back ALL the way down this snow and ice covered mountain road.. I was just about to the end when I slid into this ditch.. Managed to get myself out by putting sticks under the front tires and pushing the blazer while i was giving it gas! sounds like you had fun.

couple of questions though...........

why didn't you just turn around, instead of backing a down that road? sure it would've been a 7 point turn (maybe more?) but @ least you wouldn't have slid into the ditch.

also, why didn't you snap a few pic's of the cars @ the top for us?

I've been on many a mountain road that you can't turn around and that was without any snow. Kind of sucks when you meet another vehicle but rule of the mountain is whoever is pointing downhill has the right-a-way.

this is why I haven't gone 4 wheeling for a while. the snow and ice is unforgiving when you are 4 wheeling. This winter I've ran into all sorts of problems... including trying to dig myself out for 3 hours at 1 AM, hitting a snow plow, and getting stuck in the middle of a puddle up to my doors... I'm waiting until ice and snow is all gone to go on another adventure.

Well, The snow and ice was packed down pretty good from the snowmobilers, and a turn around on such a narrow road could have been fatal, considering one side of that road was a mountain drop off
