Looks like a nice little spot in London. Wish they had something or anything like that around here.

how did you figure out how far apart to drill the holes on the shackles that you made?

other than the (crapy) plastic front bumpers on these 2nd gen's, they'd manage fine. i could go through the 3 feet of snow that i used to get around my old place, with my '92 Jimmy no problem.

#1 rule of thumb for 4 wheelin. "You don't need 4 wheel drive till you run out of momentum".
#2 rule of thumb for 4 wheelin. "Don't run out of monentum".
#3 "Cash is KING". This is for when you suddenly rum out of momentum. LMAO

Thats not that far away for you. Drive on over sometime. I used to drive 5 hours with my Jeep to rock crawl... till they closed the area down.

i measured the stock shackle which is 4" between the center of the bolts and u lift your truck half of the distance you increase between the bolts. so for me i wanted a 2" lift so i made my new shackle 8" between the bolts i added 4" but am only lifting the truck 2"
