Trust me, I had my front ones facing backwards (trying to save on gas on a long trip) and it took all of my will power not to fire them up at someone behind me for 50 miles with their highbeams on.
Hey, that's the benefit to the spare tire carrier. It blocks out peoples lights. You only have to worry about the shine from the mirrors then. If only we had self-dimming mirrors on our blazers. Hmm....
Hey guys just a little thought that my gf came up with after me whinning about bright lights in the side mirrors. A light tint on the side mirrors helps a lot. Her mom has a 99 Regal LS where the driver side mirror has some light tint to it and I love driving that car because some pita can get up behind me and their highbeams dont bother my eyes.
Hmm, it's a good idea, but I like being able to see out of them at night. That was part of the problem on the trail, the tint on the back window made it hard to see backing down the trail.
