Default s-10 Blazer

I'm looking into buying an 80s 2-10 blazer or s-15 jimmy. Only thing is, I want to lift it 4-6inches and put a diesel in it. Can anyone tell me where I can get info/stuff to do this or if I am insane for wanting to try this?

Welcome to the site.

Diesel eh. there is limited info on diesel swaps into the s10's. I wish GM would have put in or at least offered it as a factory option myself. Besides the obvious stuff like radiator, electrical, gas tank, fuel lines, what other info are you looking for?

Lift kits, there are several companioes that make them specifically for the S-series rigs. Superlift, Trailmaster, Skyjacker (I think), and there are one or two others. 4" is an odd size. Most are either 2" or 5"-6" lifts.
