Here's the deal on the wheels. I found them online for $50 from a guy in Racine, WI and met him at the oasis up north. They were not in great shape but i was going to paint them so it didn't matter to me. I sand blasted them to get all the loose stuff, then painted them semi gloss black. They were still messy so I sanded the bad spots again then repainted and cleared them with 3 coats. My buddy at the wheel shop thought they were after market rims. He couldn't believe they were stockers. I think GM missed the boat by not coming out with them painted. oh well. i'm going up to silver lake this Sunday, if anyone wants to meet up..... maybe going to the bad lands soon too.

Is there some stuff up at Silver lake for us unlifted guys?
I have 30" General Grabbers. 1.5 shackles and 1 1/4 t bar crank.

That is a great looking truck! Good job on the wheels, I agree that GM should have made them painted
