That's the exact reason I don't let anybody I know drive my blazer haha! They all treat their own cars like garbage so I imagine what they would do to mine! Glad to hear that nothing major broke though that's always nice haha.
We were REAL lucky nothing major broke or he'd have been walking home...lol Specially since aside from the lift it's pretty much stock. I usually don't let anyone drive my truck either but I figured ehh he can't hurt anything, yeah right, he came back and I took the truck and told him that was the last time he'd ever drive it...lol

It sucks when they close stuff down like that, luckily they haven't done that where we go, yet! It's really the only legal place to go that's close besides Rausch Creek. And that's too far for us to even consider, something breaks out there and we're sol...lol

Yea no kidding. For some crazy reason my parents wont let me borrow any of their cars which is a real shame. Probably because I abused my tacoma and ended up with a burnt valve lol. Oh well I pay to fix everything I break so it's on me.

Yea me and my buddies kinda just find random fields whenever it rains (which is hardly ever in SoCal) or we get to travel up the freeway to Lytle Creek or Big Bear.

Kids gotta learn somehow, but thats easy for me to say since it's not my truck. My first truck was a 1980 Toy 4x4. Had a 20r with a 4 spd. I beat the hell out of it learning how to drive. Paid off though, soon after in the army i was one of the few drivers who never got stuck. Interesting note here, I bought my first blazer and found out that i was able to go most everywhere in the blazer that i went on my humvee.

Yea most people think that humvees are some great thing but they truly aren't. They are entirely too heavy to be very capable of doing most things. Atleast that's how the civilian humvees are. I'd love to get my hands on a military one

that's why you play hard in a K5, not a S series. i should know, 'cause i bent the frame @ the fender/door area on a buddy's truck. he didn't even care, he just "loved the feeling of flying after we left the dirt pile", plus the dumb *** has way too much money.
glad too see the big Blaze gave him a smack.

Trust me, you're not missing much. But then again the 6.3 diesel engine isn't too bad of a motor but with how we ran off of jp-8 instead of diesel it drops the performance. Also the humvee is full time four wheel drive with auto tranny, you drive in high gear and shift down your tcase to low when needed. Saw lots of city kids get stuck while i drove right by.

that's 6.2, bigkhans. yeah, they shoul have made the cilvilians issue available with stick for that exact purpose. as for the "city kids" getting stuck all the time, it just comes down to not knowing how to drive, and the "Hummer will go through anything!" mentality just proves they don't know what they're doing. i've gone through a few things with my Jimmy that had Jeep guys going "how'd you do that?", which was usually followed by, "you're f**kin' crazy!". bigger doesn't always mean better, but it sure can look good.
