Amen to that. You proved my point. I bought my first blazer that had the 2.8 four cyl. with a 4 spd and four wheel drive. I drove that down the 'back 40' at ft. campbell ky in two wheel drive through places that i usually had to gear down in the humvee.

Watched the vid a few times, the fact that nothing broke tells me that you must have some good suspension and springs on your truck. A bit of good luck doesn't hurt either.

Well I think it was probably a bit of both...front was all spring and done right BUT the back has 4 inches of block in it. We did have to replace the bub bearings after that but they were going way before he drove it. Hubby was just too busy thinking it was the front shock making noise to believe it was something else til I took it to a shop.

Yes I did and it was a good thing I did...The hub bearings were fuzed to the driver side spindle. They said very dangerous to drive it that way. They wanted 600 to do both sides including a new spindle. I didn't have that so brought it home got the parts and a spindle from a junk yard and hacked off the old hub with a cutter...lol Total was 250 tops...compared to 600...lol
