I have been told if i put to much of a lift on i have to change a bunch of crap. what is the biggest i can put on with out changing that stuff? and what would be the best way to do it. and what size tires can i put under that lift?

 

what are you driving?? how much lift do you want?? what size tires are you wanting to run?? almost every lift will require you to change something, do some searching around there is a ton of info about lift kits on this forum.

 

I wouldn't go bigger than a 12" lift with 44" tires...

 

 

im in a 97 4dr 4x4 blazer, if i put on a 5-6" lift with 35's what all would i have to change?

 

you wont be able to fit 35's with only 5-6" of lift youll be able to run 33's or 34's with a good amount of trimming and if your still asking what you have to change i take you havent used the search function yet....

 

if I may be so Bold....

learn to Crawl before you enter a marathon...
Meaning, start with a 1.5" Tbar lift and maybe a 2 " Body lift
go with some 30s... play around like that for a bit.

You wont have to change your gearing or anything radical.


Save the 10" Lift with SFA and Dana 44 swap for later.

A complete 6" lift should come with everything needed including shocks. You will then want to install up to 33" tall tires on 8" or 10" wide wheels. After that, have the front end aligned... And you will probably want to re-gear the axles... It's just that easy! It only takes $$$... (alot of it)
