As it says I need a good lift kit guys but I'm barely making 9$ an hour lol so I'm not exactly swimming in money but this is something I really wanna get my 1996 blazer.

There is a dedicated "sticky" thread dedicated to this.

Here are some not so expensive lift "kits" below. But keep in mind that your largest expense will be new larger tires.
  • Longer rear shackles and torsion bar crank.
    • This can get you about 1.0 to 1.5 inches before adding new tires.
    • The issue is that the angle for the upper ball joints is bad and they will wear out faster.
    • Also, without replacing them, your shocks might hit their max extension.
  • Same as above but add new shocks and use the Rough Country upper control arms.
    • This is what i did. You can check out my build thread.
    • I could only fit 30x9.5 tires without interference of the tires with the frame rails and fenders.
    • By rolling the top inside of the front fenders and putting up with tires touching the frame , you can fit 31" tires.
    • Note that going to larger tires means a higher effective gear ratio for the axles.
  • Rough Country 2.5" lift kit.
    • All in one kit engineered for our Blazers.
    • Requires modifying the front axle.
For the first two, you can also add new torsion bar keys that are not too expensive and allow more range of adjustment for the torsion bars. I might need to add theses.

That is weird. My signature did not show up in my post.

See below for my build thread.
