We recently replaced the carpet in our 1980 k5 and when we went to reinstall the passenger seat, it seems the seat wont go down far enough for the latch to engage in the back. Does anyone have any photos of the floor near the back of the passenger seat? There are two black plastic pads under the carpet and I cant remember if they were exposed through the carpet or if the carpet went over them. I removed the sound deadening material from the back of the carpet already but it doesnt seem to be enough. Any ideas?
