1989 Dash Pad

1989 Dash Pad
Hi guys, this is my first post here. I bought a '89 Jimmy about 3 months ago. I did a bunch of engine work to bring it back to spec. So I'm onto other parts of the truck that need work. Last night I started ripping the dash apart. My OEM dash is the grey color and cracked to pieces. Plus the instrument gauges were missing a lot of lights. And the front dash still has the OEM speakers from '89. So the goal of this project is to replace the dash pad itself, clean the gauges up and replace all the bulbs and throw in some new Kicker 3.5" Speakers.
OK, let's talk Dash pad. I noticed Summit Racing has some in a variety of colors. OER has some in color also for $220 and then they have a $299 version that is supposed to be better, but only available in BLK. Why is the more expensive pad only available in blk? LMC has a $330 version, again only in blk. I want the best OEM replacement I can get. Prefer in grey. Black would work... but that's not how the truck came. I'm trying to keep my truck as stock as possible.

my 1986 full size chevy has a plastic molded cover that fits around my crappy broken up dash. maybe go with something like that? should be cheap. but no idea where they sell them my truck came with it.
