Two challenges:
1) I need to replace the rear window glass in the hatch. Looks rather easy once I remove the door hinge pins which function as the hatch and window hinge. How do I remove these hinge pins?
2) Prior to breaking the glass, the rear hatch window did not open...something with the release mechanism was broken. When I try to release the window, I hear the motor but it does not unlock/release. Any ideas what may be the issue?

Note: this is a 2000 GMC Jimmy but I believe the Jimmy and Blazer are the same.
