Hi All,
Well, the boy had his first accident. not sure how he did it, but only shattered the rear hatch window on low hanging tree without touching the body!
any who...
I searched around for posts and didn't find much on this window. Looking for help in sourcing a new rear hatch window. Any help on the following is appreciated:
- the part number for the actual glass
- good websites for auto glass
- any other ideas on where to replace.
I have yet to call the local junk yards, but last time I called them for a tccm they were outrageously expensive (thanks northeast).
Thanks in advance!

Is it the type where the glass lifts up on it's own and then the bottom drops like a truck tail gate? Or the type where the rear hatch opens upwards and the window is part of it?
I'm not too sure about the second type (where the glass is in the hatch), but the first type is very easy. Just have to unplug the 3rd brake light from inside by popping down the panel that has the rear cargo interior lamp and the wire and plug is right in there under the headliner, then push the grommet out and pull the wire through to the outside. Pop the clips off the clips off that hold the struts to the body that hold the glass up. Then just remove the 4 torx screws holding the hinges to the body/roof at the top. Installation is the reverse.

Thanks for the reply!
no, it is the second type where the whole tailgate lifts up. but it was very easy as well to get off - tailgate and glass hatch both hinge at same place - remove one cotter pin (not really cotter pin as its one the outside of the hinge pin in a groove to keep the pin in place), remove the pin while gate is in place, and glass comes right off. Pins go back very easily as long as you don't move the gate.
My bigger issue is sourcing the glass inexpensively. my question was around if anyone had any good websites for this.
Thanks again.
