Hi everyone, new here, been trolling around but my 1st I need help!::
I got my 95 blazer a few months ago, its beautiful and no license plate mount.
Needless to say, I got pulled over & ticketed for no plate on front. Went to autozone, guy tries to help but no good, says maybe truck was wrecked&repaired-doesn't make sense bolts won't go in, says go to junkyard or dealer to get mounting. Dealer closed today but if I find 1 at junkyard how do I get it off & onto mine?

If I remember correctly, they're mounted using plastic rivets-or mine was anyway before it got ripped off years ago when I spun out. I just screwed my plate using the 2 pre-drilled holes in the front bumper(used oversized metal tapping screws(bolts)and screwed the bottom 2 holes into the lower plastic air dam--works fine and hasn't come off yet. Serves the purpose--not too low. Works fine for me.

There are two holes in the bumper that hold plastic screw holes that the plate bracket screws onto. If you don't have the pieces of plastic in your bumper, you can use bolts, nuts and washers to hold the bracket on. It's just not as easy to put on, and take off.
