Can it be done?I recently received a 1997 Chevy Blazer LT that came with some LED headlights. I want to swap the front end grille so that I can use a projector headlight with the same or similar bulbs. Currently I'm only seeing those for a 2005 Blazer front end. I almost bought the parts until a friend mentioned something about core support. Since this is my first time doing anything like this, I naturally have no clue. currently I am looking at a grill assembly for a 2004 S10 or a 2005 Blazer, as well as an associated bumper. Will I be able to install these on my vehicle, or am I stuck with my current setup?

 

It really isn't too hard to swap out the core support if your really want the front clip. But you will need that. If you can get your hands on one from a wrecking yard, you'll be good to go. You can also grab a core support from a 2002+ gmc jimmy. Might be able to use one from 99-02, but not sure...
