Question 97 Bravada steering wheel adapter

I want to put my aftermarket grant wheel on my 1997 bravada. What steering wheel adapter do i use?, When i ask around at local parts stores they tell me "I can't buy one for it". Probably because it will eliminate the airbag. Do i just buy one for the older body blazer? Or do i have to make my own adapter?

Just so you know, it is illegal to switch an airbag equipped vehicle to a non-airbag steering wheel. I'm not telling you not to do it, just wanted to make sure you knew.

Grant does make customer steering wheels with air bags built in.

Yea i know in some states it is, Its not my d/d anyway, Its my project truck almost everything about it is "illegal".

In pa im a mechanic, At work i can not legally fail a car with out a airbag"and the light bulb out", I can fail it for a deployed airbag that is still present, but not for a removed airbag. Just like if you have bad struts that are leaking oil i have to fail it, But if they are blown and not leaking oil I have to pass it. lol

Thanks for the info, I will check into the grant adapter.

Yea the adapter is priced insane, I was gonna look into using a steering column from a 94 s-10 truck, They do sell a steering wheel adapter for that since it does not have a factory air bag. I just dont know if the s10 column will work yet, I will let you know
