im actually trying to sell it to someone i know and he has a 2000. this bar should fit a 98-2002, but what im not sure about is, does this bar BOLT RIGHT UP? i know i dotn have to drill any holes, but do i need anymore brackets or anything?? do i have to remove the hooks first? i cant find an install manual anywere and hes not going to buy it unless it actually fits. i just need to know from someone who has installed one before, does the frame of the bar just bolt up? thanks

With no mention of who makes this bar or of any part number, it is awful hard to help... And I know that many others have put brush bars on their trucks, but this is not the most active of forum sections...

I believe you have a westin sportman grille guard part #40-365. Heres alink to the instructions, you sould be able to figure it from there. I think the mounting kit is part #40-0665.(call Westin and make sure) You will still have to drill holes to make it work on the 97, since it is made for the 98+.
