Has anyone here used DupliColors chrome paint? I was thinking of trying it on the black center caps on the stock steel wheels. I`m just looking for a few opinions from anyone who has tried it.How did it look and would clear coat make it look more realistic(if it really looks like chrome). Comments anyone.

 

hello the crome socalled paint is very trashy looking just overgloified silver paint
you could have them cromed they got a new process out that is a paint related process i belive that metalbrite in dayton ohio does this they claim they can crome anything dont remeber phone # but you could gooogle it thanks and good luck

 

Thanks. I didn`t think it would be worth the time or money.I`ve seen a video of the process you mentioned. They did a motorcyle helmet. It was neat how it was sprayed on. It just looked wet while it was being applied,then just as quick as you can blink...BAM...it turned chrome. I`ll bet it ain`t cheap.
