I need help. I have a 97 blazer automatic floor shifter. And i cant seem to find out how to take off the shift ****. I was taking off my boot this afternoon to make a custom and decided i wanted to change my shift ****. Please someone help me. Greatly appriciate it.

 

Don't know about yours specifically but GM tends to favor the u shaped clip on their floor shift *****, should be on the front (side facing the dash) will look like a straight black line just grab it and pull once that's out shift **** slides right off.
