I paid a friend of mine, who is a shop manager at mazda to do it. It only costed $160 including all wheel alignment to do this.
Yes it is 4wd, as far as I could tell the 4wd system works good still.

Wow, that's great. I am going to lower my 4wd too. The kit alone is $160 (torsion keys and blocks) and the shocks are $110. But I'm going to install the kit myself to save on money.
You won't need lowering shocks for the rear, as it wont change the shock travel.(axle over spring). So just the front two shocks I'de get.
