Default Brush gaurd help??

I have a 1995 4 door blazer and i recently got what i believe to be a Westin Brush Guard of some sort. Well i mounted it the way i thought it would be mounted, by using the bolts and mounting it to the frame. Well the problem is its really loose and wobbly. A brush guard doesnt do much good when it rattles around and hits the truck. Anyways i was wondering if i could make some brackets to put on the bumper to hold it in place. My question is can i just put a drill a hole and put a self tapping bolt in or will it take more ???

Or the current bolts that you have already used you could add washers in the gap that is allowing it to move around.

sorry mov4x4 i dont think i explained myself very clear. it just seems as if im missing some mounting brackets or something, because the top is very wobbly. You can take one hand and push it until it hits the hood. Thats why i think that im missing two bumper brackets or something to keep the top from moving, but i would have to make the brackets

Oh ok. I'm not to familiar with self tappers but if you can't do that you could always can fab up some homemade brackets to help sturdy it up. I hope you can resolve your issue.

My brush guard has two brackets the connect from the guard to the bolts that hold the front bumper on. When you take the grille off, you'll see the two bolts with star heads right on top.
