Default Carpet dyeing/seat dyeing

I just purchased my 2 door 1995 blazer and the previous owner didnt take too good care of my new baby so its my turn to give her the tlc she deserves. I have somewhat of an idea how to take parts of the carpet out im only a little confused on how do u get the carpet out from under the trunk and by where those little pocket things are? just pull it out and tuck it back in later on? i don't know. Other than that i was going to get the carpet out take out as many stains as possible right now its a light blue and i was going to dye it black. Does anybody know if the black dye will cover up whatever stains don't come out? any info is greatly appreciated

You will want to pull out all of the seats and the trim panels front to rear before trying to get the carpet out.

Most of the panels are held in by spring clips, but you will have to remove any clothes hanger clips as well as have a look around for any other fasteners. Locations depend on how your panels are configured (cubbie holes, etc). When you think you have all of the fasteners removed, go over it again with a fine toothed comb. Only then do you start prying on things. Do not force it. The spring clips should come apart fairly easily.
