Hey everyone, new owner, new to the forum. Love My 2000 blzr 4 door, but hate the cd holder in my center console btw my bucket seats. Has anybody been able to mod this? Or am I crazy for caring and no one has thought of it?

 

I used the tape holder in mine to mount a wooden panel for my off-road lights switches. I don't know if the cd holders have enough room for that though.

 

I am planning on fiberglassing over the front of mine and putting my bass booster switch for my amp, and my Ipod input in there.

 

i made a switch panel to go in that spot for mine. I dont use it anymore as ive made a new one. If your interested i would be willing to sell it to ya.

 

Thanks for the replies I think I'm gonna fabricate an iPod docking station. It seems simple enough. I start a new thread with pics.

 

I just flattened out the holder rails and use it as a junk holder. I dont smoke so I modded my ash tray to hold my ipod and aux cable. I'm just the person that doesn't like wires hanging around.
