clear coat chipping off the doors

wetsanding is fairly simple, get a bucket, put some water in it, and a drop or 2 of dish soap (helps out a lot) let the 2000 grit sand paper soak for about 5 minutes, then start sanding, small circles. every minute or 2, dip and move the paper around in the water bucket to re-moisten it and clean off the paper.
If possible, stay away from the area with no clear coat as much as possible, since that is just exposed color coat, I would not want to run the risk of sanding through it and making it match even less (it will will not match 100% after this, since the clear coat has been missing, the color coat has been exposed to UV rays, and weather, which have most likely faded it slightly, but it wont be real noticeable unless you point it out to someone
Then once you are done wet sanding, take a rag and get it wet, and wipe the area clean and allow to dry.

i just sprayed them about 2 hours ago, should it look so much different from the rest of the original clear coat? i mean i know it shouldnt be a 100% match, i just want to get it to look some what decent and slow or hopefully eliminate the chipping. the can said 48 hrs to full dry. after spraying and waiting is there any other steps to help "blend?"

so its not as shiny as it looks in the photo. I am sorry, I should have covered that, go to orielly/napa, your parts store of your choice, and get some polishing compound, I would wait about a week or so before polishing it. I would recommend doing it by hand with a good cotton rag. it should shine it right up.
