i dont think the interior ever came in black, but it's been awhile since i messed with a 1st gen Dime.

Phil said it all, it's all about the prep-and the materials you use.

a friend of mine dyed some seat back panels for one of his Challenger's about 9 or 10 years ago from black to white (possibly the hardest colour change to do), and they're still holding up great.

someone else on here was asking about the same thing. some chick (if i remember correctly) wanted to change her dash, but couldn't find the colour she wanted (i think it was grey). so i pointed her to the site of the product that my friend uses.

acn't remember where that is right now...........i'm gonna go searching for it.....be back later.

Default The Grille.

as for the grille, it is a phantom grille not an insert. my friend has one of these in his blazer and has had for about 5 or 6 years and his still looks great.

i just found one at this link.

pretty sure the grille is all one piece. i'll call my buddy and ask him about it.

My friend said his is all one piece. You can buy just an insert but he said he bought the grille. He bought it from fbi but i don't think the sell them anymore. here is a pic of his blaze.
