for those of you that may know is the stock taillight assembly able to be taken apart? (via HEAT)

my driverside tail has a small pond in the lense and has eaten up some of the shiny chrome reflection material.. (i figure while im pulling apart my wifes 98 headlights i can pull apart my tails as well and fix damage)

also anyone have ANY opinions on euro type tails in black for dark colors? around here euros are on everything but if i can keep the setup individual than i dont think it would be bad, hence why i run LED's in stock tinted tails.
