Evening gents,

I have a 1987 Chevy K5 Blazer (Silverado trim four-wheel-drive) with a baby blue or corporate blue 5.7L 350 engine.

I want to freshen her up but I’m seeing a lot of conflicting information on YouTube. I’m finding that a lot of people are saying that anything past 82’ should be a black engine block.

Anybody out there have definitive information for me?

i had an '83 that had the black engine, same with a '90. The '83 had the crappy 305, though.
