Default Was this console ever available?

1996-97 floor shift with manual transfer case.

I've seen a lot of floor shift S10s but can't recall seeing one with a manual transfer case as opposed to the pushbutton.

GM Heritage pages have been no help.

Thanks.

I've seen a few people wondering the same thing and all discussion says NO it was never an option. They did make a 5speed with manual tcase shift console but no auto with manual tcase. In those discussions I have seen people adapt a floor shifter into the trans hump with an auto console and a couple came out looking pretty much factory. If I remember tomorrow I will see if I can dig up pics.

Thank you. I kind of figured as much. Perhaps I will look for the smaller t-case shifter console and put in something from another car.

Here's probably the best example I can find. Believe it or not it's not factory! Sorry I can't find any info on how it was done but I'll keep digging.

Hmmm..I love it. I'd lose my cupholders but oh well.

I could use a modified lever from a 1970s Camaro to accept the linkage, that way I could use the dash gear indicator as no indicator down here would fail inspection.
