Post Cut my top off, now I have a problem..

Since I cut the top off my blazer I'm not sure how to go about covering up the edges. At first I used old weather stripping from a truck. I've got about an 1/16" wide edge from the tailgate up around the cab and back to the tailgate. Since people will be climbing in and out of the back of the truck I can't think of anything sturdy to put on there. Any Ideas? Check my profile for a pic of the Blazer.

It would be cool to have a 2" pipe welded all the way around it.
