Door hinge pins...yet again!

So after tiring of the incessant wind noise on the passenger side door- (from the door, not the Mrs.!) I did some thorough searching on here of all the hinge pin posts. I have to pass along some helpful info to our Canadian members, if they plan to do this one. After searching all of Red Deer's auto parts stores (and getting some strange looks) I finally found the door spring tool at Princess Auto for $7.99- they had 6 or so in stock... I had to split the brands of pins due to store stock (and impatience) and found the NAPA pins to be of higher quality than the Canadian Tire ones- the bushings in the CT ones are smaller, and are both the same OD and ID, versus the NAPA ones which fit like OJ's glove. NAPA pins were a buck more per pin.
When doing repair have someone other than your wife/GF to assist- apparently they cannot differentiate between cussing at the task at hand and directly at them... I am off to enjoy a cold one and a new dry spell...LOL

Yeah replaced drivers side pins last month! Got them from napa for 11 bucks the stealership wanted 31 for the same ones! LOL! I would recomend using two jack stands cause I used one and almost dropped the door. The door slipped and caught it with my thigh. Its nice to have a door that shuts properly! There are great threads on how to do this!
