Etchinhg Glass
I am flirting with the idea to etch my rear glass. I have a Dremel rotary tool with the various bits. How hard or easy would it be to do this. Is the glass really fragile or can it be worked with. I tried my hand with a graphic from the net and a piece of granite.
IMO you dont have a steady enough hand for etching (upon viewing the attatchment). I would not try this on your windows unless you enjoy spending all your money buying new windows! I know of at least 5 different glass etchers around my town, all very good at what they do. I'm sure if you just look around you can find someone to do it for you. It really is not that expensive, not as much as buying new glass for your truck anyway! I've been thinking of getting a design etched in my back window, but I have not really decided yet.
