Default Exterior Trim

Hi, I have a 2002 4 door blazer 2wd and I have a question. The trim on the lower part of my blazer has rust on it. How do I go about removing it so I can clean it/paint it. Your help is greatly appreciated

Could you take a picture of the piece that you are inquiring about removing? Sounds like it is the rocker panel which is part of the body and cannot be removed without cutting.

Sorry I don't have a camera to take a photo of my own blazer but I found this one.
the piece in the smaller photo is what I'm talking about it looks like its stuck on there and I'd really like to remove it.

That's just plastic... It shouldn't rust. But it is just stuck on with adhesive.

Yeah, its just adhesive on the doors. On the rear bumper endcaps though, there are 3 clips/bolts holding the trim on each side.

Not to thread jack, but, thank you for answering my question regarding the moldings. I've been wondering if they're just held on with adhesive or screws/clips. I think as soon as I get mine, I'll be removing those. What about the emblems? Are those held on with adhesive as well?

Beautiful. I want to take the trim, emblems and the roof rack off. Well, that is, as soon as I get a Blazer I'm wanting to go shopping for one the 25th and 26th of this month. Hopefully I can find something

Be sure to use the special trim/sticker removal wheel. Auto body supply stores should sell it. They're like $15, but remove the adhesive with little to no scratching of the paint.
