Been doing some digging, and I'm planning on doing something like a 4/5 drop to my Blazer 4x4, adding 18" wheels and grabbing one of these body kits: https://visracing.com/i-30499460-199...%7Cyear%3D1995

2 door is pictured, but this is for the 4-door version. Now, it states that this kit is only for the 95-97 model years, and with mine being a 98, I doubt it will bolt right up. I had a read through the 98+ front end conversion for 95-97's and it looks like all I would need to do is get a 95-97 core support, head lights, fog lights, turn signals, grille insert and possibly a 95-97 bumper support.

Is the rest of the body similar enough in style between the 95-97's and the 98+? Is there anything else I'll have to keep in mind when mocking up the rest of the kit?

 

I would say that your good to go. There is no reason why you con convert down, if you can convert up....

 

My thought was (I haven't been able to confirm this for this specific kit) that if it is specific to 95-97 models then it would only bolt to a 95-97 core support. That's the only difference that I can find between the 95-97 and 98+ is the core support (when doing an upconversion).

Since I have the 98+ core support, I'm guessing I need to get the pre facelift core support and accompanying lights etc to make everything fit.
