drill out frame...sleeve...bolt and lock washer loc tite.
then slide receiver in and taa daa..(famous last words)
i dont think the frame and tube are similar in size....might have to add a plate of steel to keep the side to side motion down.

 

Well looking at what the synergy offroad kit includes:

• (2) 2" x 12" receiver tubes tapped to be mounted in the location of the stock tow hooks and skid plate
• (8) bolts
• ( 8) washers
• (2) Draw-tite Receiver Shackles

Harbor freight has 12" receiver tubes but you would have to measure and drill out holes. Make sure to get heavy duty bolts and washers for reinforcement loctite if you want. Looks like everything at harbor freight would be $12.99 x 2 then bolts and washers so another $10 or so and then the shackles another $10 x 2. So about $56 total it looks like. This is a rough figure and if you have a harbor freight 20% off coupon, it would be less.

another option is the same size square stock as your receiver. heat, pound flat with a hammer, center a hole for your shackle and grind to a nice round edge.
done this a few times for jeeps

I bought some 12" tubes from Princess Auto for like 10 bucks a pop(Bro works there and gets a wicked discount). And originally just bolted them in with the stock holes and grade 5 bolts and it worked for a bit (pulled an f-250 out of the ditch) but sheared the bolts right off so now i just welded it in.

 

Looks like a good fit now...why not try grade 8 or up the dia of the bolt??
