Gauge cluster with tach for '96 Blazer
yup pulled it from a 95...... I did have to take the needles off in order to reset the odometer to my correct mileage.... i have tired manually adjusting the needles but they still move awkwardly, not smooth at all
Ok so i took it out for a spin with the front plastic off, manually removed the needles and zeroed them, the speedo and Tach now work as well was the volts. I am going to get a fill up tomorrow to set the fuel needle. Any ideas on how to test the oil pressure and engine temp?
Mike, I just converted mine over today. I was tachless for the longest time and then found a good one in the yard and went home and put it in. Looks good. I have a pic up in the "what did you do to your blazer today?" thread lol.
Thanks lol
. I'm just glad it's finally in.
And as of right now, no I haven't changed the mileage. I know that's pretty illegal lol, but I don't plan on selling the blaze anytime soon. I'll eventually change it.
But i'm keeping up with the mileage by doing some calculations. I gotta make sure I don't miss an oil change because of the mileage difference haha.
