most likely, the pico ITX (the one in the guys hand) only draws 16 watts at full load and 14 watts at idle

I was reading about a mac mini, and got drooling... I have a few 500gb hard drives full of music/movies....that matched with the optical out, and a nice amp, equalizer, to a set of speakers, and maybe a smaller woofer would be AWESOME!!!!!

I'm not a fan of macs, it would be easier but not nearly as much fun as building it yourself

+ anything a mac can do, a PC can do it better (and cheaper)

Lol, lets stay on topic... I know I would hold my own with the mac vs pc debate.... but I do understand that for a lesser price you can build your own, but you can't run the mac osx, as it is illegal unless under their hardware.... Plus the idea of a company controlling hardware + software to run on said hardware is much nicer than MIcrosoft making an OS, and then letting everyone play run this software.... you know what I mean, when you have crappy hp laptops and such...

But back on topic.... I did a little scouting in my blazer, and the stuff can be fitted... I might start doing some mock up drawings/diagrams,,,

I looked on there, but its pretty sweet how the mac is probably a perfect as is (idk about cooling) to fit in the center console... Idk about anyone else out there, but I spent about 4-5 days before freshman year at college, and ripped my dad's CD collection (well most of it), and then had some crazy 1000's of songs

Also, something to think of would be drainage, as if you put any electronics in the vehicle, you need to put them in a water proof area... but Idk where the water would pool...

That vid is pretty sweet. Blazers are good cars for build in TV's because of the CD player size.. twice as big as the ones in most cars
