Default a good paint for flexible plastic?

I bought a roof top cargo carrier. It doesn't look too bad except for the lid is gray. I'd like to paint it black so it matches better with my truck. I looked at the autoparts stores. I see that they have bumper paint, and trim moulding paint. I know both would work. But, which would hold up better? For one... it's going to be up there getting hit with every rock, bird, and bug. And two... the sun will be on it all the time. I've used the bumper paint to re-do the grill and bumper on my fullsize with good results. But this cargo carrier is made of that rough textured, thin, flexible plastic. What's your suggestions?

Krylon plastic paint stuff?? Otherwise from that stuff I dunno. I would imagine the bumper coating paint would hold up fairly well too considering what its made for is getting pretty well beat up by rocks and bugs as well

SEM paint is made for things like vinyl with a lot of play in it. otherwise I'd go with a plastic spray paint (like the above mentioned Krylon Fusion)

When I paint stuff that flexes I use a flex agent in my mix before I spray it on.

I'm going to be using spray cans. I haven't gotten around to but=ying everything for a HVLP gun yet. I've done it before... just not with my own stuff. If I get time this weekend I'll heat up the garage and get me some bumper paint first and try it. It seems to hold up good on my bumper and grill. I'm just not sure on this flimsy plastic on the carrier. Trial and error here I come. LOL!

+3 on the Krylon Fusion. People use that to paint ATV fenders.
