Cool Got some new goodies :)

Got 3 things off my list of things to buy

The story starts when I hit a deer with the Blazer and cracked the back of one of my projector headlights. So I dealt with it taking on water for a few months. I also retro-fitted 9005s into the blank spot of my old aftermarket signals and they were showing signs of heat damage, so I took them off and put the stockers back on.

I finally got enough money saved up, so I went on ebay the other day and found new headlights, signals, and a 9006 hid kit all in one auction, and I bought them.

Just got them today.

I'll keep on updating this as I get everything installed.

HID's are extremely bright headlights.. 9006 would be the light type I believe. HID's do come in different intensities..but I don't think 9006 would be a measure of that.
And the lights look good. Can't wait to see them installed!

9006 is the bulb size. HID stands for High Intensity discharge. Its a system that replaces your halogen filament bulbs with a ballast and an electrode-in-gas style bulb.

I forgot to mention that the HIDs are 6000k. My high beam kit that I currently have is a 5000k, so its not too much difference.

I just finished painting the light surrounds....

Here is what they looked like before:

Got them masked up:

And the finished product:

Sorry if the quality isnt great. I'm using the 3.2MP camera on my Blackberry because my Kodak is being stupid.
