Default Grill guard fitment

Have a 98 and found a 97 grill guard off of an S10. Think it would work? I don't think there's a problem between the S10 and Blazer fitting but I'm worried about the 97-98 front end change.

I'm hoping it would bolt right up since I don't have much ability to fab brackets (other than drilling holes into steel plates)

you'll need to do some work with the mounting brackets. it won't line up with the bumper/lights properly.

Not what I wanted to hear. I bought it anyway but it's raining/snowing out and I don't feel like lying on the wet ground to see how the brackets attach right now.

old skool luvr was 100% correct, it's resting right against the impact strip on my bumper and it doesn't line up with the lights properly. I got it for $50 so I'm not going to complain about a less than perfect fit
