Default grill insert look ok?///clear corners on a 98+ Jimmy

Been looking at grill inserts on ebay, anyone have one? Do they show the stock one through it without LOOKING for it? Are they solid? I heard some were aatached with wire ties[:'(] Just wondering before I plunk down $50 on something that will make my Jimmy look bad.

Also to save room, is there a way to clear the corners on a 00 Jimmy? It doesnt look like there is , and I searched but I figured Id throw it out there incase I missed something.

Thanks

Check out Street Scene for inserts. http://www.streetsceneeq.com/ I had the Speed Grille on my stock front end. Held on with clips. Should have diagrams on site. Look really good. Hard to see grill behind it.

As for clearing. Try sticking the lights in boiling water to loosen the seal on the lights. Pry open and pull out yellow reflector. I've read putting them in the oven also, but I think boiling water will soften it up enough. I've seen this topic on S-10 forum. Try there. www.s10forum.com Just do a search for clearing lights, or something similar.

ok, thats what I figured would be needed. I wll see if I can do it on a junk one on ebay, my lights are in relative good shaped to "cook" them, lol. Thats what I needed to do for my Bonneville and I chickened out, heh.

Thanks

mind telling me the sellers name? The one problem with eBay is that a lot of people sell similar stuff, some good some crappy knock offs. Thanks for the info. Did it bolt-in, clip-in, or zip-tie in?
