has anyone ever installed new rear quarter panels on an 80's jimmy/blazer?

Default has anyone ever installed new rear quarter panels on an 80's jimmy/blazer?

I have an 86 jimmy and the rear panels are pretty bad. I know they need to be cut off and new ones have to be welded on but I need more details.

i have been searching for details on this topic too without any luck, as mine needs new rear quarters too...

something like that unless you know exactly what you are doing (have body shop experience) I would really recommend having a body shop do it.
